Thank you for expressing interest in SBWBO.
Course dates and topics are identified below on the one page schedule. The written closed book exam is Wednesday, November 12th but remains subject to New York State (NYSGBOA) guidelines and will be confirmed closer to the fall.
Class sessions begin at 7 pm and will run generally for one and half to two hours. Click here for the schedule: . Candidates are expected to participate in both classroom sessions and on court mechanic sessions; no special attire is required.
Aside from the course/clinic fee ($250), costs for officials include fingerprinting, dues, and uniform. Section XI game fees begin at $107.50 for modified level work and rise to $144 for varsity games. The JH schedule begins the first week of February. Once you become certified, you are eligible to work CYO, AAU and all other youth and adult leagues. SBWBO is not involved in the assigning of any of those leagues.
